Self Acceptance- You Choose How You Feel About Yourself

I found a definition of self-acceptance that I thought was pretty great. “Self-acceptance – an acceptance of yourself as you are, warts and all.”

That pretty much sums it up. Self acceptance really is the first step on choosing how we feel about ourselves. And, as we all know, our feelings create how we show up in life.
So, I ask you. How do you feel about yourself? Is it mainly positive? Negative? Indifferent?
No matter the answer, know that it’s always a choice. How you feel about anything is created by a thought. And only you create your thoughts. So, if you find yourself troubled in the self-acceptance department, pay attention to your thoughts about yourself.
How can you go about changing them so you get back on the path of self-acceptance?
