When I became a mother, I knew I would step away from life coaching.  I gave myself permission to not know when or if I would return.  Around my baby’s 1st birthday, I started flirting with the decision to go back but what I found was a business that no longer spoke my truth.

My websites, my podcast, the way I presented myself on social media, my worksheets…basically everything I had built, didn’t feel like me anymore.  I knew that if I returned to coaching, there would be a lot of work ahead of me.  Basically, starting from the bottom.  New websites, new logos, new material, new podcast…everything would have to change.

That’s when the “how’s” started rolling in.  How would I have time for that?  How would I be able to schedule clients when a baby’s schedule is unpredictable? How, how, how.

But when I thought about why I felt I had to do this, why I wanted to coach stay at home moms, all of that “how” business didn’t matter. When you want something and you do whatever it takes to get it, I guarantee there’s a strong why behind it.

So, I challenge you.  Instead of asking yourself how…try asking yourself why.  Why does this matter to me?  Why do I want this? “When the why is clear, the how is easy.”
